Custom Printed Cosmetic Stickers & Labels

Professional Cosmetic Stickers — Designed Online, Printed to Perfection

From skincare serums to handmade soaps, your product labels need to look as good as what’s inside. Our waterproof vinyl cosmetic stickers are durable enough for bathrooms, stylish enough for retail shelves, and available in over 10 premium finishes — design yours online in minutes.

Choose the Right Material for Your Cosmetic Stickers

The material you choose shapes how customers perceive your product before they even open it. Here are our most popular finishes for cosmetic labels — each creates a different mood and shelf presence.

Matt Vinyl — Clean, Clinical, Contemporary

A smooth, non-reflective finish that photographs beautifully and conveys a clean, modern aesthetic. Matt cosmetic stickers feel premium to the touch and avoid glare under store lighting — making product text easy to read and ingredient lists legible. The go-to choice for skincare brands, organic lines, and apothecary-style packaging.

Best for: Skincare, serums, moisturisers, organic cosmetics, apothecary packaging

Gloss Vinyl — Vibrant, Eye-Catching, Retail-Ready

A high-shine finish that makes colours look saturated and punchy. Gloss cosmetic labels pop on retail shelves and stand out in product photography. The smooth, wipeable surface resists fingerprints and is easy to clean — practical for products that get handled in store or used in damp environments like bathrooms.

Best for: Makeup, hair care, body lotions, retail displays, bold graphic designs

Satin Gold & Silver — Instant Luxury

Metallic finishes that say “premium” before a customer even reads the label. Satin gold is warm and elegant for luxury skincare, while satin silver is cool and modern for clinical or high-tech beauty brands. The metallic base shows through translucent inks for a rich tinted effect — add white ink for crisp, opaque colours that pop against the shimmer.

Best for: Luxury skincare, perfume, high-end serums, gift sets, boutique beauty brands

Clear Vinyl — The Invisible Label

Transparent vinyl that makes your design appear printed directly onto the container. Clear cosmetic stickers are the secret behind that sleek, minimalist “no label” look you see on high-end skincare. The product colour and packaging show through — only your text, logo, and graphics are visible. Particularly stunning on frosted glass and coloured bottles.

Best for: Minimalist skincare, frosted glass bottles, transparent packaging, clean beauty brands

How to Design the Perfect Cosmetic Label

Practical tips to create cosmetic stickers that look professional, meet regulations, and help sell your product.

1. Start with Your Container Dimensions

Measure the flat labelling area on your bottle, jar, or tube before designing. Curved containers need narrower labels to avoid creasing. Use our 3D mockup tool above to visualise your label on real cosmetic containers and get exact dimensions — or download a print-ready template from our template generator.

2. Plan for Mandatory Information

EU and UK cosmetic regulations (EC 1223/2009) require specific information on labels: product name, ingredients list (INCI), net contents, batch number, PAO (period after opening) symbol, manufacturer details, and any warnings. Plan your layout to accommodate all of this legibly. Our designer supports multi-page designs — use the front for branding and the back for regulatory content if your container has two labelling areas.

3. Choose Fonts That Stay Legible

Cosmetic labels often carry dense text — ingredient lists in particular. Use a minimum of 6pt (ideally 7pt+) for INCI lists and regulatory text. Sans-serif fonts like Helvetica, Montserrat, or Lato stay sharp at small sizes. Reserve decorative or script fonts for the brand name and product title, not body copy. Dark text on a light background is the most legible combination.

4. Design with Bleed and Safe Zones

Extend your background 3mm beyond the trim line (bleed) and keep text 3mm inside it (safe zone). Our online designer handles this automatically with visible guides. This prevents white edges or trimmed text on the final stickers.

5. Match Your Material to Your Brand

Clinical/medical skincare → matt white or brushed aluminium. Luxury/premium → satin gold, satin silver, or mirror finishes. Natural/organic → matt with earth tones. Modern/minimal → clear vinyl on glass or frosted containers. Bold retail → gloss for maximum colour vibrancy. Think about how your label will photograph for e-commerce — matt finishes avoid glare in product shots.

6. Use CMYK-Safe Colours

Screens show RGB but stickers print in CMYK. Bright neons and electric blues will look more muted in print. Our designer previews in realistic CMYK so there are no surprises. Need true white on metallic or clear vinyl? Enable white ink — standard inks are translucent on non-white materials.

7. Consider Water and Oil Resistance

Cosmetic products live in bathrooms, gym bags, and handbags. All our vinyl materials are fully waterproof and resist oils, creams, and lotions without peeling or smudging. For containers with textured or treated plastic surfaces, our High Tack material provides extra adhesion.

8. Upload High-Resolution Artwork

300 DPI minimum for sharp, professional print quality. PDF and PNG formats are ideal. Avoid low-resolution web images or heavily compressed JPEGs — they’ll look pixelated on the final product. Our designer exports at 300 DPI automatically.

9. Order a Test Batch First

No minimum order means you can print 25-50 stickers to test on your actual containers. Check the colour accuracy, adhesion, and wrapping before committing to a large production run. It’s far cheaper to refine a design after a small test than after 1,000 labels.

Cosmetic Sticker FAQs

Matt vinyl is the most popular — it looks clean, photographs without glare, and feels premium. Gloss vinyl suits bold, colourful brands that want maximum shelf pop. Satin gold or silver adds instant luxury for high-end skincare. Clear vinyl creates a sleek, minimalist look on glass or frosted containers. All materials are waterproof and oil-resistant.

Yes. Every material is fully waterproof vinyl that resists oils, creams, lotions, and bathroom humidity. The adhesive stays firm and the print won’t smudge, peel, or discolour from daily handling or moisture exposure.
